Our client in Ireland delivers high performance travel distribution software solutions to the global travel industry and is the creator of the xDistributor Platform.

To support the continued growth of the company, they are currently recruiting for Software Engineers to work in the Dublin and Galway offices. These are permanent positions offering tremendous potential to highly motivated individuals who wish to work in a dynamic, multi-customer environment, with the latest XML, Java and Internet technologies.

They offer challenging software engineering roles, looking for someone who wants to help build the next generation of XML distribution products for the travel industry and also enjoy working with an experienced team.

You will develop your software engineering skills through a combination of on the job mentoring and application maintenance. You will deploy solutions to our state-of the-art hosting platform with the support of the Operations Team. You will enhance the existing solutions to increase sales and have an opportunity to grow your technical and professional competencies .

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Must be capable of meeting customer and internal management deadlines
- Following defined software development processes to consistently maintain high quality software and implementing enhancements
- Deployment of the overall solution to our hosting platform
- Responsible for taking part in 2nd level out-of-hours support

Salario: 36.000 - 42.000

Comisiones/incentivos: The client willl arrange and pay for emigration and health insurance.

Se requiere:

The client is looking for candidates with a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Electronic Engineering and the following work experience:

-Experience working with Web Technologies (HTML and JavaScript)
- Java experience desired
- Excellent understanding of computer science principles
- Excellent debugging skills
- Experience working with XML and XSL technologies
- Experience with Linux operating system and networking infrastructure
- Knowledge of travel technology systems an advantage
