Senior developer

Important internet company. Senior Developer required to lead the development of our next-generation of websites including a new and ambitious distruptive application.

The right candidate will be an enthusiastic, hands-on developer, and will also be experienced with the entire software engineering life cycle from requirement analysis, architecture, design, development, code review, quality assurance to deployment.

Se requiere:

Advanced Degree in Computer Science or Mathematics (Masters degree desirable), or equivalent work experience.

* Advanced skills in .NET Framework: C# or VB.NET, ASP.NET 4 (MVC desirable), AJAX, WPF, WCF; SQL Server 2008
* Strong XML/XSL skills
* Good understanding of Agile development methodologies (including Scrum)
* Good knowledge of design patterns
* Knowledge of N-tier software architecture, modelling principles and practices
* Knowledge of business and data modelling
* Understanding of design, performance and security requirements for public-facing web sites
* Design/development and implementation of enterprise scale relational databases (MSSQL)
* Knowledge of normalisation and scheme of design (ERD)
* Knowledge of ETL and data cleansing, mining
* Knowledge of test-driven development and unit testing
* Ability to understand wider commercial requirements on own projects
* Responsible for defining current & (future) (strategic) use of new technology.
