- Responsible for leading a team of Direct Sales staff, Inside Sales, Proposals, world wide Channel Managers and other key professional's to profitably grow the business in the region (Spain and Portugal).
- Build, monitor and execute territory sales plan. Responsible for pipeline management and sales productivity analysis.
- Sets clear metrics and manages the company approved incentive program.
- Provides sales expertise to assist Direct Sales staff on large project pursuits within the installed base.
- Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
- Has relationship with key customer contacts within designated territory responsibility
- Identifies growth opportunities within designated territory.

- Engineering background / knowledge of Automation process / industry and related IOM Portfolio / ERP and IT solutions.
- Strong sales operations, financial and business acumen.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Educated to degree level.
- Experienced in complex solution selling processes
- Experience of using CRM tools and ensuring team compliance in using the tools.
- Strong expertise in Sales Planning/Forecasting.
- At least 8-10 years direct sales experience (may carry their own sales quota); minimum 5 years experience diversified leadership - must be able to demonstrate leadership of a quota carrying sales organization, development of sales talent, etc.
