APPLE ignited the personal computer revolution in the 1970s with the Apple II and reinvented the personal computer in the 1980s with the Macintosh. Today, Apple continues to lead the industry in innovation with its award-winning computers, OS X operating system and iLife and professional applications. Apple is also spearheading the digital media revolution with its iPod portable music and video players and iTunes online store, and has entered the mobile phone market this year with its revolutionary iPhone.
Reporting to the Senior Account Executive, his prime responsibility is to support the management of Apple's business at strategic key retailers and maximize sell-through achievement, ensuring the highest possible 'revenue' targets are achieved.
The objective is to drive business growth of the iPod, iPad, Mac and accessory business in nominated accounts by supporting the Senior Account Executive to initiate, coordinate and implement sales and marketing programs.
Key Accountabilities:
Sales:
- Sales - deliver growth and sell-through revenue targets from named reseller list.
- Account Management support: under the lead of the senior account executive, participate in the management of named resellers to perform against short and long term company goals across the whole sales proposition.
- New accounts development support: opening new targeted accounts when needed, and implementing business development plans.
- Deliver timely and accurate sales forecasting and reporting.
