Release manager for java applications
E-Commerce multinational company
He/She will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Allocation and handover of the application releases (from the development into the test and live environment)
- Support of the projects for the integration of new functions
- Preparation of the time schedule for the application releases and the coordination of the planning with all involved departments
- Participation in the development of new processes and roles within the Release Management
- Responsibility for administration of release notes and the allocation of the required information for operations
- Amendment of the technical build and deployment processes

We are looking for people who are interested in turning clients' ideas into innovative solutions. Potential candidates will be required to have:
- Completed degree in Computer Science or equivalent qualification
- Excellent experience as a Java Developer
- Very good skills within the development environment and build tools
(mainly Maven and Ant)
- Experience in Shell-Scripting
- Experience in version control systems and continuous integration
- Experience in the calculation of risks for different software integrations
- Good communication skills.
- Fluency English (spoken and written).
- Fluency in German will be an asset.
