Process engineer (packaging/ filling)
Multinational pharmaceutical company - Responsible for (technical) improvements of the packaging / filling processes with emphasis on product quality and processing efficiency
- Assess the technical performance of installed packaging / filling equipment (vial and syringe filling lines, optical inspection machines, labelling and blistering machines, cartoners, bar code printers and readers, check weighing and box packaging equipment)
- Prepare and analyse scrap and deficiency statistics through data collection and observation and suggest process improvements (technical, organisational)
- Prepare cost estimates and requirement specifications for technical modifications
- Request vendor proposals, create purchase requisitions and process invoices
- Prepare process qualification protocols in close cooperation with QA
- Revise operating and maintenance instructions and procedures
- (Re-)train operators and technicians on equipment
- Report work hours in SAP

Se requiere:
- Master or diploma in pharmaceutical or related engineering studies (mechanical, chemical engineer)
- Fluent in Spanish and English
- Proven record in the successful deployment of statistical analysis tools and process improvement methodology (e.g., DOE, six sigma, Tagushi, 5M, FMECA)
- Knowledge of cGMP regulations pertaining to operation and maintenance of packaging machinery
- Minimum 5 years experience in the pharmaceutical industry
