Platform engineer
Major engineering company MAIN TASKS:
o Support to the definition, design, development and oversight of a telecommunications satellite
program in the area of Platform activities.
RESPONSIBILITIES.
o Support program team as local resident at Satellite Manufacturer facility.
o Monitor daily activities at Satellite Manufacturer and subcontractor facilities as needed.
o Monitor and witness processes, equipment and satellite handling and testing as needed.
o Follow up and review of platform design, development, manufacturing and testing at unit,
subsystem and system level
o Preparation and participation in platform unit design, manufacturing, testing and failure review
meetings, in platform subsystem design, manufacturing, testing and failure
review meetings, in system design, manufacturing, testing and failure review meetings, in the launch campaign.
o Preparation and participation in the LEOP and in the In Orbit Test Campaign.

Se requiere:
- Aeronautic Engineer, Telecommunications Engineer or similar.
- Five years experience in a similar role.
- Deep knowledge of satellite platform equipment and subsystems technologies, in the area of platform equipment manufacturing, assembly, integration and testing at unit, subsystem and satellite levels.
- Demonstrated knowledge of satellite system related activities (e.g.: system budgets, satellite mission analysis, radiation, EMC&ESD…).
- Demonstrated skills in the area of Satellite manufacturing, assembly, integration and testing at system level, in the area of Satellite LEOP operations (Platform) and in the area of Satellite In Orbit Testing (Platform).
Se desea:
