Mechanical Engineer (Oil & Gas)

The Mechanical Engineer is responsible for the mechanical design. He/she determines the mechanical design in which a significant part of the mechanical calculations and drawings are being outsourced internally and externally. The Mechanical Engineer coordinates, controls and is held responsible for the mechanical design. After the engineering phase, the Mechanical Engineer is closely involved in the construction phase.

The organization is highly project minded. Within a project, the design is created by a team of engineers, in which the disciplines Process, Electrical, Instrumentation and Mechanical work closely together. In the purchasing process and during construction and installation of the equipment, the engineering team remains involved in the project to provide technical advises. Within the multidisciplinary project groups an independent input is expected, with teamwork and project progress being important motivational aspects. Furthermore, flexibility, a broad interest, collegiality and willingness to travel is a must.

Completed university degree in mechanical engineering
Fluency in English, willing to learn Dutch
