The responsibilities will include:
Diagnosing Business Needs
1. Acts as the HR Business Partner and HR Expert to multiple functions in a geographical region.
2. Successfully working at part of the HR model, in full partnership with COEs and HRSS, responsible for providing a comprehensive HR service and delivery of local HR strategy;
" Recruitment and selection, including job analysis, job descriptions, interviews, assessment centres and handling expatriation and immigration
" End to end processing of performance management
" Termination of employment (leavers) including resignations, compromise agreements, redundancy, dismissals
" End to end discipline and grievance mediation
" Interpreting, communicating and advising to all employees on business poli

The ideal candidate holds a Undergraduate degree - preferably in social sciences, business or legal basis.
The ideal candidate should have:
- Graduate or Member of Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (or local equivalent)
- Significant experience as an HR business partner, generalist and employee relations ideally in a pharmaceutical background.
- Extensive experience of Spanish and Portugese employment environment and employment law.
- Previous people management experience an advantage
- Fluent in Spanish and English (written and verbal) essential.
- Portugese language capability an advantage.
- Excellent business acumen, business management and the ability to understand business strategy.
- Strong analytical and diagnosis skills, translating business objectives into local HR strategy.
- Excellent prioritization and delegation skills in managing workload
- Excellent communication, influence and diplomacy skills to effectively work in and with the HR model.
