Continuous improvement specialist

Pioneer company leader in its industry - Accountable for leading the planning, direction, and coordination of manufacturing techniques and support justification for alternate methods to reduce costs
- Accountable for conducting cycle time analysis to verify current/ future production rates and target potential improvements
- Work with production teams to improve working environment and product throughout; and raise the level of awareness for lean manufacturing and continuous improvement.
- Accountable for developing the production procedures in order to maximize the safety, ergonomics and efficiency of the plant.
- Lead the learning and change environment within the Operations area to deliver Lean Operations
- Accountable for the design of the production layout in collaboration with the Operations Manager
- Work with the engineering and sales department to continuously improve the design of the product ensuring consequent improvements in production efficiency.

- Experience in designing and delivering well thought out solutions in tight timeframes
- Experience in managing improvement projects to completion delivering benefits
- Experience with international organisations and multiple regions
- 5 years of experience in a continuous improvement role in a similar discipline
- Thrives and enjoys working in a 'change' environment with all the ambiguity that can bring
- Demonstrable detailed mechanical engineering skills
- Strong knowledge of best practice continuous improvement methodologies
- Strong knowledge of best practice manufacturing systems
- Excellent troubleshooting and logical analysis skills.
- Computer Literate
- Knowledge of integrated systems and quality approach
- Proficient in English and Spanish
- Excellent time management and prioritisation skills.
