Area Tradelane Development Manager Noram

Our client is one of the world's leading providers of supply chain solutions, combining intercontinental Air and Ocean Freight with comprehensive Value-Added Logistics Services and Supply Chain Services.
Able to manage cross-functional interfaces (Operations, Air- and Ocean Freight Product & Procurement, M&S / SCM and ISP's)
Strategic and operative planning skills
Financial acumen
Organizational skills (prioritize, plan, assign and control)
Decision-making capabilities
Excellent communication (verbal, written, listening and presentation) skills required
Goal and team driven and a good motivator and facilitator to ensure that set targets are realized
Show leadership and direction
Strong network and relationship building capabilities, influencing skills
High ability to define problems, analyze facts and determine valid solutions to resolve the issues
Proactive self-starter, able to work in a matrix structure supporting Area, Country and District sales organizations

Higher educational level (degree business administration, economics, logistics)
Working experience (minimum 10 years)
Industry experience (minimum 5 years)
Management experience (minimum 5 years)
Marketing & Sales experience (minimum 7 years)
International working experience
Must be able to sell and close a sale by effectively negotiating with decision makers to maintain and expand business opportunities
Solid knowledge of management-economics
Functional know-how in air- and ocean freight
In-depth trade lane knowledge "of respective trade lanes"
Deep market knowledge (customers, competitors, suppliers, overall environment)

Languages

Spanish as mother tongue
Advanced business English spoken and written

Good knowledge of Microsoft® Office Software (Excel®, Word, PowerPoint® and others)
Profound knowledge of Customer Relationship Management tools
