The company is a multinational responsible for water management and supply, and wastewater treatment and disposal. The role of the Management Accountant reports to the Finance Director (FD) and his/her main responsabilities will be:
- Support the business/FD in the development and update of short to medium term financial plans (ensuring appropriate and timely budgets, 5 year plans and a full year budget forecasts are in place)
- Provide timely analysis of performance - variances to budget, margin analysis etc.
- Cost accounting
- Project Profitability Review
- Maintain strong internal financial controls.
- Support the FD in relation to all audit programmes both internal and external.

- Economics or Business Administration degree.
- Previous experience of such disciplines as Financial Accounting, Financial Controls, Management Accounting and Process Improvement
- Previous experience in a similar position.
- A proven track record in the field of management accounting and the associated development of management information systems to support business operations in a fast moving environment.
- Experience and knowledge of a Group reporting needs.
- Ability to communicate with all internal levels (General Manager, Financial Manager, Management Team...) as well as with the Group
- Ideally, experience in a multinational company.
- Good standard of spoken and written English.
- ERP Experience valuable.
- Comprehensive knowledge UK/GAAP and IAS/IFRS.
